Born April 4th, 1962   Sandusky, Ohio

At the age of 16 was already an accomplished pianist. Graduated from Sandusky high school in June of 1980. Also a Saxophone player she joined a local band as the keyboardist in 1983. After that gig ended in 1985, she joined a Jazz trio as their new Saxophone player. in Aug. of 1986 she met Will Arnold, with both interest in music & arts they became close friends, she taught him easier key motions on the keyboards. Kathy became close with Will's wife (Becky)

Will introduced her to David Caldwell an accomplished big band drummer and producer. Her & David began dating in Jan. 1986. The trio played at a couple of Jazz joints around northeast Ohio and into Pennsylvania, at the Cisco club in Mentor Ohio they heard the works of a guitarist named Mike DeVille. after months of talking and a couple of shows they brought on David Grass a well known Keyboardist song writer and composer. In May of 1988 they formed the band " All That Jazz"

In Oct. 1989 Jimmy Turner of Getty records, heard them play as a local opening act at the Cleveland Agora Theatre, and in late Oct same year invited them to laydown a few tracks in studio. In Jan.1990 Getty records has the band in studio to cut their first album. As it got close to release time in June of 1990 we changed our band name to the Wright Boyz.

The moderate success of that album led to the release of "Seconds in a urban way" in 1991

On Feb. 14th 1992 Kathy married David Caldwell. On the heels of our third release in September 1994 During their 1995 Dark & Empty road tour turmoil erupted when it came to surface that Kathy & Will were having an affair. The band almost split in '96  After the release of two successful albums, Will & Kathy call it quits. after the death of her close friend Aliyah & the diagnosis of cancer to her ex David she remained at his side until his passing in '08. She now resides in Virginia married with two children.
